Thirty seconds of zen with the pond puppies. (Turns out my witch’s familiars might be fish.)

This happened while I was traveling last week. He broke into the screened porch to come up onto the deck for a single suet cake that I had out for the woodpeckers. I should have known better than to have a suet cake out this late in spring, but there’s a pileated woodpecker who keeps coming by so I pressed my luck.

Not me accidentally doxxing myself for my unboxing video. Hence the dancing orchid. There’s no feeling like holding your own novel in your hands for the first time! I’ll do some ARC giveaways in the coming months so stay tuned!

Excuse my snot while I share some news…

Out for a Sunday drive and came across these ol’ long beards in New Jersey! Now I’m looking up how much an out of state turkey tag is… I didn’t even have a turkey call and I still got them to answer me a few times.
