The Future Beneath the River

Merritt Wagner, a long-time National Park Service employee, is hired into a management position at a national park in the wilds of Pennsylvania. A couple weeks into the new job, Merritt discovers the park exists not only to protect natural and cultural resources, but also to conceal a national secret. Despite her ethical reservations about the portal’s existence, it could change everything for Merritt, who has been struggling with the pain of chronic endometriosis.
